Who we are

A feminist coalition for digital rights, built to act across borders

Feminists4DigitalRights unites civil society organisations, researchers, and allied institutions to confront online and technology-facilitated gender-based violence — and to make sure victims and survivors are never left to face it alone.

Our approach

Local expertise, global reach

Cybersexism plays out differently from one country to the next — different laws, different platforms, different cultural pressures. That's why our coalition doesn't try to replace local organisations: it connects them. Our global mapping lets anyone, anywhere, find the organisation best placed to help — for reporting, legal support, psychological care, or advocacy.

At the same time, we bring these voices together in international spaces — including the United Nations — to push for stronger, coordinated action against online misogyny.

Why it matters

The scale of the problem

Online violence disproportionately targets women and girls, and the rise of generative AI is making it worse: the vast majority of deepfakes circulating online are pornographic, and target women almost exclusively. No single organisation, or single country, can address this alone.
